Hello, and welcome to A New Order of Things, the weekly podcast where creating conversations and community around building winning individuals and organizations is the goal. I am your host, Eddie Killian, and every Tuesday I release a brand-new episode, where we will deep-dive into tips, techniques, science, and experience from world-class leaders, founders, and academics, always looking for the best ways we can grow to become winning individuals that create winning organizations.

Twenty years ago, I began a journey that I expect will last my lifetime, attempting to be the best leader, facilitator, and organization builder I can be. My quest to sever silos, bust bureaucracies, and improve employee goal performance has, over the years led me to study religions, psychologies, personal improvement and efficacy, systems thinking, habits, chaos theory, anarchism, physics, and so much more. I am always looking for the explanation to the question at hand.

I have designed systems and processes for numerous organizations, across many industries, assisting them to exceed their goals by empowering the individual. It is within this podcast that I intend to convey the knowledge and experiences I have gained and explore new ideas and hunt for new answers alongside you, the listener.

Niccolò Machiavelli in his 1532 treatise The Prince offered up the title of this podcast when he warned, And I quote:

“It ought to be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things.”
